Prevent a charge before it happens

Snap, Scan, Understand. Your Parking Sign Interpreter.

Take a photo of any parking sign or ticket machine, and we read the rules for you: price, maximum stay, payment methods, and restrictions.

Stop guessing. Stop overpaying. Stop getting fines. Useful on an unfamiliar street, in a multi-storey car park, or for the small print on tiny signs you always miss.

What it does

Reads a photo of a parking sign or ticket machine and gives you the price, maximum stay, payment methods, and restrictions in plain English.

Who it's for

Any driver parking somewhere unfamiliar who wants to check the rules before they park, rather than find out after a charge arrives.

Jurisdiction

Built for use across the UK. If a charge does still arrive, our appeal support is strongest for England and Wales; Scotland and Northern Ireland are currently limited.

How it will work

Take a photo

Photograph the sign or ticket machine, whatever is on site. Any phone camera works.

We read it for you

The wording, tariff table, and small print are read and turned into a plain summary.

See the rules clearly

Price, maximum stay, payment methods, and restrictions, all in one place before you walk away.

What it reads from the sign

Price

What it actually costs to park here, including any per-hour steps.

Maximum stay

How long you are allowed to stay, and whether that changes by time of day.

Payment methods

App, card, coins, or permit only, so you are not caught out at the machine.

Restrictions

Permit-holder bays, loading restrictions, or other conditions easy to miss on a small sign.

Frequently asked questions

Is this legal advice on whether I can park here?

No. It reads what the sign or machine says and summarises it in plain English. It does not interpret local by-laws beyond that wording, and you should always follow the physical sign on site if anything looks different from the summary.

What if the sign is faded, damaged, or partly hidden?

The summary can only be as good as the photo and the sign itself. If wording is missing or unclear, we will tell you rather than guess, and you should treat the physical sign as the final word.

What happens if a charge arrives anyway?

Unclear or contradictory signage is itself one of the most common grounds for a successful appeal. If a charge still arrives, use our free parking charge check, it is a separate part of RightReply.Me that already works today.
